Today is National Doughnut Day. It is also Friday. By purchasing a treat at Prohibition Bakery in New York City, you can both indulge your sweet tooth AND kick off this weekend’s fun.

Warning: you have to be at least 21 years old and have your I.D. on hand to buy the spiked goods at this “boozy cupcakery.” Prohibition Bakery, which opened in 2011, adds alcohol to its mini cupcakes after the delicious treats have finished baking, so the alcohol does not bake out of the treats.

The bakery’s menu includes a variety of cupcakes infused with wine, beer and spirits. Beer drinkers might enjoy the “Pretzels and Beer” cupcake, which is made out of Six Point Sweet Action Ale, Nutella, pretzel and white truffle. The ingredient list of the “Dark & Stormy” cupcake includes Gosling’s Rum, ginger beer and lime.

According to the founders of the bakery, their treats are perfect for cocktail parties and other festivities. You should try to curb your appetite at such catered events, though. Eat too many of the little cupcakes, and you could face the nasty combination of a stomachache and a hangover.

Prohibition Bakery advises its customers to “eat responsibly.”
