During the Tony Awards Sunday night, Hugh Jackman sang a snippet of the opening song, “Rock Island,” from the musical classic, “The Music Man.”

Jackman — who said he once used the song to audition for his high school musical — sang all eight character parts himself. The result sounds something like a rap song.

In that spirit, Jackman brought on hip-hop artists LL Cool J and T.I. to help him deliver the song with a more modern rap flare.
