Kansas Republican Congressman Tim Huelskamp released a “dear colleague letter” Thursday condemning Planned Parenthood for “the explicit promotion and normalization of harmful and risky sexual behavior to our teens.”

Responding to an undercover video released Wednesday depicting an Indiana Planned Parenthood staffer encouraging an underage client to engage in violent sex acts — including whipping, spanking, biting, and bondage — he condemned the staffer’s advice as “shocking” and “harmful,” saying that “Americans should not be forced to pay for such an irresponsible organization that endorses unsafe and extremely questionable sexual practices for our teens.” (RELATED: Planned Parenthood Staffer Schools Underage Girl In BDSM)

Planned Parenthood said Wednesday that the video “does not reflect our professional standards or training protocols” and that the staffer is “no longer employed,” although the organization did not confirm whether she was fired or quit.

Planned Parenthood received over $500 million in taxpayer funds last year.

Huelskamp, who has four adoptive children of African American, Hispanic, and Native American descent, has called Planned Parenthood “a racist organization…created for the sole purpose of killing children that look like mine” and has repeatedly called for it to be defunded.
