Watch MSNBC “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski‘s face as former Democratic Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer says what sounds an awful lot like “bullshit” on the show this morning. When asked about Hillary Clinton‘s week last week as her new book Hard Choices rolled out, Schweitzer’s response is initially garbled, but you can distinctly hear the word in his response and anyone telling you otherwise is yes, bullshitting you.
Co-host Joe Scarborough prompted him, saying, “Talk about Hillary Clinton’s week last week. Why was it so tough for her to just go out and sell a book on what should’ve been a good will tour?”
One possibility of Schweitzer’s response: “I would build the bullshit.”
He went on to more distinctly say, “I didn’t mention Hillary Clinton in any of my comments. Mark Halperin was there. …Some people say Hillary Clinton isn’t relatable. I have 69 first cousins so I’m related to a lot of people.”
Translation of the expression on Mika’s face: Um, wait, did the governor just say bullshit?
