You had better sit down for this one. A Sunday show beat NBC’s “Meet the Press,” that show that needed to be assessed by a psychiatric worker to make sure there was nothing seriously wrong with host David Gregory.
In all seriousness, FOX News Sunday with Chris Wallace was the #1 most watched Sunday Show in the Washington market on Sunday June 22, beating NBC’s Meet the Press, ABC’sThis Week and CBS’ Face the Nation in household viewers. According to Nielsen, FNS delivered 59,000 in households and 73,000 in total viewers.
Compared to the same date last year, FNS is up triple digits in household viewers (up 119 percent). Meanwhile, Meet the Press was down 10 percent versus the same Sunday last year (6/22/2013).
