Representative Charlie Rangel’s campaign has released an official rap song as the 84-year-old incumbent tries to build momentum heading into a tough primary Tuesday.

According to the New York Daily News, rapper Fireboy LD (whose real name is Londel Davis III) produced the song, which features a chorus of “Charlie Charlie Charlie Rangel” and calls him “Superfly.”

The lyrics also includes biographical aspects of Rangel’s life, including “He was born in Harlem, got a purple heart and bronze star, earned ’em in the Army” and “he worked a lot of low paying jobs so he knows what it means to be poor,” according to the UK Daily Mail.

The song has been blasted at campaign rallies to help Rangel in his primary race against New York State Senator Adriano Espaillat. A recent NY1/Siena Poll showed Rangel ahead 47 percent to 34 percent.
