Charles Krauthammer lit into President Obama Tuesday night after the president referred to Hamas’ apparent killing of three Israeli boys as a “tragedy.”

“[T]he President’s statement spoke of this as a tragedy, it’s not a tragedy, it’s a crime,” Krauthammer said on Fox News’ “Special Report.” “People often speak about 9/11 as a tragedy. A bus accident is a tragedy, a terror attack is a crime.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has promised retaliation against Hamas. The three Israeli boys were kidnapped from the West Bank. (RELATED: Missing Israeli Teens Reportedly Found Dead)

“The President does this all the time,” fellow panelist Stephen Hayes said. “In other situations where there’s been a tragic killing the President doesn’t urge restraint for the people who have done the killing, I mean the people who are the victims, he does it in this context every single time.”
