A Colorado Planned Parenthood chapter recently received an award for exceeding the expected number of abortions performed in 2013.

Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, the second-largest Planned Parenthood facility in the country, handed an abortion award to the Aurora clinic, lauding the Colorado chapter for performing more abortions in 2013 than 2012, according to CNS News.

According to the report, the signed award reads, “This Certificate Awarded to Aurora for Exceeding Abortion Visits First Half of FY12 Compared to First Half FY 13.”

A former employee spotted it being proudly displayed on the facility’s bulletin board that displays other certificates Planned Parenthood considers to be achievements, and snapped a photo of the abortion prize.

Former Planned Parenthood Director and now pro-life advocate Abby Johnson posted on her blog that even though many people choose not to believe clinics have abortion quotas, that is in fact a reality. (RELATED: Planned Parenthood Says God Supports Abortion)

“Ever since I left Planned Parenthood,” Abby Johnson wrote on her blog. “I have been talking about the abortion quotas that are established inside abortion facilities.  Many abortion supporters refused to believe it, citing that surely Planned Parenthood wants abortion to be safe, legal and RARE. If they want something to be RARE, they certainly wouldn’t have quotas, right?”
