The latest Hollywood rumor is that Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are expecting, and Mendes has apparently kept it a secret for seven months.
OK! Magazine broke the “news” with confirmation from an unnamed source who is apparently close to Mendes and Gosling.
“She’s been ready for motherhood for a while now,” the source said. “And to be sharing this experience with Ryan is a dream come true for her!”
“Ryan grew up without a dad, so he always said when he had kids, he’d be there no matter what. This is it for him.”
The couple has been together since filming “The Place Beyond the Pines” in 2011, but the baby daddy allegedly doesn’t want to get married before Mendes gives birth, despite her wishes for the official family status.
“Ryan doesn’t think they need to marry just because they are having a baby, but Eva believes it’s important to have their lives fully intertwined,” said the unnamed source.
So if the rumor proves to be true (and Mendes hid her pregnancy for an astonishing seven months) and there’s a new Gosling, would Ryan change his name to Ryan Goose?
