Alix Tichelman, a 26-year-old year old prostitute from Georgia, has been arrested after she allegedly injected a lethal amount of heroin into a Google tech executive while the two were aboard his 50-foot yacht at the Santa Cruz Small Craft Harbor earlier this year.

A surveillance video from the dock shows Tichelman injecting Forrest Hayes, 51, with heroin. Santa Cruz Deputy Police Chief Steve Clark said the tape shows Hayes having “medical complications” as he became unconscious, but instead of assisting Hayes she got her belongings together and finished a glass of wine, then drew the blinds and left. Police said he was discovered dead the next morning by the boat’s captain.

Clark said the evidence showed a “level of guilt that reached second-degree murder rather than involuntary manslaughter.”

“She showed no regard for him. She was just trying to cover her tracks,” Clark said.

Police arrested her in Santa Cruz County after ensnaring Tichelman in a prostitution sting on July 4, and she appeared in front of a judge Wednesday. Tichelman is being held on a $1.5 million bail, with charges of second-degree murder, destruction of evidence, and transporting and providing narcotics. Police said the two met on SeekingArrangements.com, a website self-described as “sugar babies and sugar daddies or mommas both get what they want, when they want it.”

Tichelman’s Twitter bio says she is a “makeup artist/model/stylist/hustler/writer/baddest bitch/exotic dancer” and in November 2012 she posted this tweet referencing a presidential strain of marijuana.
