Remember when Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino got arrested after a fight with his brother at a tanning salon in June? Well, the “Jersey Shore” star’s older brother told E! News the black eye he got came from his mother, Linda — not his brother.
“I’m going to let you in on a secret, mom is the one who got him,” Marc said.
The Situation’s mother broke her finger after popping him one while trying to break up a fight between brothers Mike and Frank, who was assumed to have given him the black eye originally. Linda said it was an accident, and Mike was later charged with simple assault and released on $500 bail. The brawl allegedly came after an argument of how to run the Boca tanning salon.
Frank said the fight wasn’t for the limelight, that it just happened to make national headlines.
“Everyone was asking us if it was for the show, but it wasn’t. We were wrapped already. There were no cameras filming it.”
The Sorrentinos have their own reality show premiering July 15 on TVGN.
