Peyton Postol, a little girl from South Carolina, found a wedding ring in her goldfish bag.
She told WSPA, the Spartanburg, S.C. CBS affiliate,”I was opening it up and I asked my mom,’Is there supposed to be a ring in here?'” Her mother was shocked to see that Peyton found a diamond wedding ring in her snack.
Pepperidge Farms, the owner of Goldfish, is dumbfounded. They told WSPA that they had never heard of jewelry being found in any of their products, mainly because jewelry of any kind is not allowed in the bakeries. They are investigating how the ring ended up in the goldfish.
