Ikea has come up with a clever way to find homes for animals using “homes” in the stores.

Ikea partnered up with Home For Hope and put cardboard cutouts of dogs and cats who needed homes in their showrooms at stores in Tempe, Arizona and Singapore, where the idea originated.

“We thought it was a perfect way to show people what their home would look like with a pet in it,” said Becky Blaine, Ikea Tempe’s marketing director, according to Business Insider.

The cutouts have barcodes so people can scan them for more information about the pet. All six pets from the Arizona Humane Society featured in cutouts at the store in Tempe have been adopted, and more cutouts will be in the store on July 29.
