Legendary actor James Garner, known for his roles in “The Notebook” and “The Rockford Files” has died at 86.
An ambulance was dispatched to the actor’s Los Angeles home Saturday night, but emergency workers found him dead of natural causes when they arrived, TMZ reports.
Garner starred in several TV series, most notably as Jim Rockford in “The Rockford Files” and as Bret Maverick in the western comedy series “Maverick.” He also starred in more than 50 films, including the older version of Ryan Gosling in “The Notebook,” “The Great Escape,” and Oscar-nominated “Murphy’s Romance.”
