Skye McCole Bartusiak, best known for her role in “The Patriot” as Mel Gibson’s daughter, has died at 21 years old.
Her boyfriend found her dead in a garage apartment in her parents’ Texas home Saturday morning, TMZ reports. Her family believes she had a seizure and choked to death, but autopsy results are pending.
Bartusiak was just seven when she filmed “The Patriot.” She had several roles since in various short films, and most recently starred in Indie thriller “Sick Boy.”
