A New Mexico couple found a complete stranger — completely naked — in their bed Sunday.
The bewildered couple found the man named Freddy Shelby sleeping in their bed in the buff, the Associated Press reports.
The police report states that Shelby went through a window to break into the home. He grabbed a Sprite from the refrigerator before falling asleep in the master bedroom.
Police had to rip the blankets off of Shelby to wake him up, as he had slept through the authorities calls to him.
Shelby claimed that he believed he was in his girlfriend’s house. He is currently charged with breaking and entering into a home.
