If Washington Fox 5’s Emily Miller was going to make herself competitive against the likes of S.E. Cupp and Meghan McCain, she was going to have to go on “The View” and spill her guts. And that she did, by gabbing with the ladies about her bad luck with online dating. She’s done Match.com and eHarmony — the latter of which twice informed her they couldn’t find a longterm match for her.

“I’ve been dating forever,” she said. “There’s no one left.”

Co-host Jenny McCarthy, who is on her way off the show, sympathized with her. She said she took a year off dating, hit the “reset button”, and told God to bring her the one.

With McCain talking about her mother’s perfect ass, Emily had to make things interesting. Which she succeeded in doing, but the question is, was it enough drama, candor and humor to land her the spot?

Only time will tell. But Whoopi seemed to like her, as did Sherri Shepherd and McCarthy. Unfortunately, McCarthy and Shepherd are both leaving the show.
