The aunt of the driver killed by NASCAR champion Tony Stewart in a sprint car race unburdened herself in an angry and grief-filled Facebook post.

“I feel numb, I look into the eyes of family and see a deep hurt that should not be there,” Wendi Ward wrote in the post Sunday night, “my heart has pounded out of my chest for hours, thanks for thinking of our family tony Stewart when you decided to be a dick!”

“My nephew was one of a kind, a true race car driver, a piss head and a sweetie all in one, a young man who will be truly missed by many! Aunt Wendi loves you budster, forever in our hearts”

Kevin Ward Jr., 20, was pronounced dead Saturday night just hours after Stewart hit and killed him during a sprint car race at Canandaigua Motorsports Park in New York. Ward Jr. had exited his car to confront Stewart for causing his car to spin out, and when Stewart came around the turn he hit Ward Jr.

No charges have been filed against Stewart.
