American colleges and universities provide a cushy salary for countless academic hacks, so they can spew progressive ideologies at undergrads. These professors, though, are the cream of the egregious crop.
Harvard professor Naomi Oreskes co-penned a book about global warming and how the earth will one day be a wasteland unless drastic, draconian action is taken. However, the hypocritical Ivy League professor doesn’t heed her own advice because she frequently tours across the world in pollution-emitting jumbo jets. Robert Reich, a former U.S. secretary of labor for Bill Clinton, bled taxpayers last year of $242,613, yet he is expected to teach only one class this coming semester for his generous employer, the University of California, Berkeley. Harvard professor Stephen Walt took to Twitter and blamed American foreign policy when Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 crashed over Ukraine. Israel-hating professor Steven G. Salaita recently lost a job offer from taxpayer-funded University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign due to relentless, embarassingly juvenile tweets about his undying hatred of Israel. University of Pennsylvania professor Anthea Butler called God racist in an essay she wrote after the Trayvon Martin verdict in 2013. The religious studies professor claimed that her vast knowledge of African American studies and religion gave her a warrant to make such claims. In May 2014, University of Connecticut anthropology professor James Boster was recorded screaming at peaceful evangelists preaching in a courtyard on the UConn campus. In the video, the atheist professor curses and rants about his love of Darwin, demanding the Christian demonstrators read more of Darwin’s research. University of California, Santa Barbara professor Mireille Miller-Young was caught on camera in March assaulting a teenage pro-life demonstrator. The professor was seen screaming at the 16-year-old and allegedly scratched her before the attack ended. The radical professor specializes in queer theory, porn studies and, apparently, intolerance. Back in 2013 at Minneapolis Community and Technical College, English professor Shannon Gibney used a mass communications class as her soapbox to discuss how privileged white people oppress other ethnicities in America. Some students in the class got so fed up with Gibney’s diatribes that they filed racial harassment complaints with the college. In January of 2014, John Jay College of Criminal Justice professor Gloria J. Browne-Marshall wrote an essay blaming conservative “southern White radicals” for the disastrous unveiling of Obamacare. Princeton University bioethics professor and radical philosopher Peter Singer wants you to think about animals in a whole new light: as prospective sex partners. In numerous essays and lectures, the Australian professor has encouraged students to embrace the idea of banging animals. He believes that pets might find the sex mutually satisfying. Princeton professor Cornel West is an emeritus loon. He is renowned around the world in his old age for his cockeyed views on race and politics. Last year at the Million Muslim March, for example, the African-American studies professor hinted that the government was behind the 9/11 attacks.
