‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ Adds World’s Smallest Woman To Cast

Ryan Murphy, writer and producer of the FX drama series “American Horror Story: Freak Show,” announced Wednesday that the show added Jyoti Amge, the world’s smallest woman, in its fourth season cast.

Amge, who is 20 years old and from India, measures in at 2 feet 0.6 inches and holds the Guinness Book of World Records title of world’s smallest woman, which she received in 2011.

Amge will appear in the supernatural series alongside Jessica Lange, who has been in all four seasons, and recently confirmed singer Patti LaBelle. “Freak Show” will be set in a 1950s carnival in Jupiter, Fla., and Murphy has confirmed that several other series regulars will return, including Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates and Michael Chiklis.

“AHS: Freak Show” appears this October on FX.
