A woman from Venezuela is now under arrest in Madrid after smuggling in 1.7 kilograms of cocaine in her breast implants, according to the Australian Broadcasting Company.
Police were checking passengers from a plane coming in from Bogota when the tourist was acting suspicious. After a search of her bags, female officers conducted a body search and found “certain irregularities and deformations in both breasts,” leading to what must have been the most awkward conversation of all time.
Eventually, the woman confessed she was carrying cocaine in her breast implants and was arrested.
This is not the first time breast implants were used to smuggle drugs. In 2012, a 20-year-old Panamanian woman was arrested in Barcelona when 1.4 kilograms of cocaine were found in her breast implants, making Spain the undisputed cocaine-filled-breast-implant capital of the world and probably a pretty cool place to party.
