Today’s Anonymous Ranter is incensed by the prospect of real estate mogul Donald Trump running for president in 2016. Trump hasn’t announced his candidacy, although he has been hinting over Twitter that he’s the right man to be the next leader of the free world.
(I do know who the writer is. All I can say is it’s a Washington, D.C. resident. Other than that, the person has requested to not be identified. Please note: The Mirror does not necessarily endorse the sentiments of its Anonymous Ranters, nor do I think Trump is a white supremacist or anti-Semitic.)
Concerning Donald Trump, I am afraid he will run for President in 2016. He will no doubt lose very badly in the first GOP primary early that year, and will no doubt claim a nefarious conspiracy against him through vote-rigging and ballot-tampering.
Until then, he will spew his white-supremacist nonsense and throw in some anti-Semitic innuendo as well.
He will steal the political oxygen out of the GOP campaign, allowing Hillary Clinton (or some such Democrat) to win in ’16.
He needs to be stopped.
I wish there were some sort of lobbying group here in the DC area gearing up to oppose demagogues like Trump from running; they’ll never win, and they’ll wreck the electoral mechanism in the process.
OK, Donald Trump is angry. So am I … at him. But instead of getting mad, it’s time to get smart.
If you know of any individual or group — liberal, conservative, Jewish, Republican, Democratic, non-profit — that is thinking about mounting a “keep The Donald out of the race” advocacy group, let me know.
