West Virginia University QB Clint Trickett is making some serious power moves. Stephen J. Nesbitt of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Tuesday night that Trickett said his first kiss was with a familiar face: Nick Saban’s daughter.
“His daughter was my first kiss, back in the day.” He said. “So yeah … I don’t know if I should have said that.”
Trickett and the Mountaineers play Saban’s second-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide Saturday and this has to be the best way to get inside his head.
Trickett’s family is friends with the Sabans. His father coached with Saban at LSU and his brother was a graduate assistant at Alabama.
It’s also not as sordid as everyone might think.
“For clarification, we were like six years old! Just so everybody knows that,” Trickett said.
Still gotta love the move just days before a game. Get Saban thinking about Trickett swapping spit with his daughter Kristen. Trickett’s just clouding his vision and Saban’s going to be gunning for him now. Some straight Sun Tzu “Art of War” stuff right there. “The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting.” Trickett nailed it.
