NBC’s new “Meet the Press” moderator Chuck Todd is getting a late birthday present: President Obama is his first gigantic guest on this Sunday’s debut program.
According to a release oddly sent out late Thursday night, in Todd’s upcoming interview with Obama this weekend, they will discuss “the threat of ISIS, US relations with Russia and Ukraine, the Ebola outbreak, the upcoming midterm elections, and other news of the day.”
You know, just a few light topics.
Bookers should be congratulated for not bringing on the old MTP staple of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).
