Actor Wil Wheaton, star of “Deep Core,” sees ISIS — the terrorist army known for beheading people, including Americans, executing prisoners, raping and selling into sexual slavery the women they capture — as an election year ploy created by Republicans to scare voters.

The actor from “Neverlanddeclared on Twitter, “Republicans are spending a lot of effort trying to scare Americans about ISIS. Probably just a coincidence that there’s an election soon.”

There you have it, America, the most heavily armed and well-funded terrorist group the planet has ever known is simply a figment of Republican electioneering.

I reached out via Twitter to the star of “Fish Don’t Blink,” offering to pay to fly him over to meet with ISIS and explore his theory. As of this moment I haven’t heard back, perhaps because I told him he’d have to arrange payment to fly his body back on his own.

Considering one of them overdosed and died, another is one of “The Two Coreys,” and the other married Rebecca Romjin, who would’ve thought Wheaton would end up being the dumbest of the child actors in “Stand By Me”? OK, Jerry O’Connell kicks all of their asses in the “winning at life” game for marrying Rebecca Romjin, but to lose to the other two is quite an accomplishment for the star of “The Girl’s Room.”
