An 18-year-old teen has been charged with tampering with a customer product, a second-degree felony, after rubbing his genitals on a pizza at Papa Murphy’s Pizza in Georgetown, Texas on Sept. 2.
The teen, Austin Michael Symonds, has just been released from jail, according to News 4 San Antonio.
Brent Bradley came to get his pizza, “a large stuffed pie with Canadian bacon, pineapple, and extra cheese,” and got more than he ordered: a side of balls, The Smoking Gun reports. When Bradley entered the establishment, he caught Symonds “rubbing his testicles on the pizza he had ordered.” When confronted, Bradley stated that Symonds was immediately apologetic, saying in the complaint, “Man, I am really sorry, that was stupid.”
Despite his original apology, later is the complaint Symonds confessed that he would have still served the pizza to Bradley had he not been caught in the act.
“That’s the terrible part,” Symonds confessed to cops.
Symonds, who worked for Papa Murphy’s, a chain of about 1300 stores, was fired from his position following the incident. He was subsequently arrested and held on a $10,000 bond. Symonds managed to post to bail from Williamson County jail and is currently unrepresented, according to KSAT 12, the local ABC affiliate.
