Talk about a sweet victory!
Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones celebrated their division title win over Toronto Tuesday night by hitting fans in the face with pies.
Not only did the fans not seem to mind it, but they were proud to have Jones pelt them with the dessert.
Interestingly enough, getting a pie to the face is a tradition after home game victories for the Orioles. Yahoo! News explained that for years now, after an Orioles player greatly contributes to a home game, they receive the pie treatment. That explains why Jones, and the chosen fans, were proud to be covered in the delicious dessert.
MLB.com shared a video of the post game interview with Jones — he is covered in pie filling as well — and clips of the outfielder smashing pies into the face of multiple willing fans.
