Sean Hannity got into it with Democratic Rep. Luis Gutierrez Tuesday night over immigration and the possibility of ISIS coming into America via the U.S.-Mexico border.

“I’m now viewing not controlling our border as a dereliction of duty by our elected officials,” Hannity said.

Gutierrez responded saying that he agreed that the border needs to be secure, but that an attack from ISIS is going to come from terrorist members of the group that acquire work visas, as they did on 9-11, rather than illegals that come across the border.

The Fox News host asked Gutierrez if he would support a bill to secure the border first and foremost. The Illinois congressman said no, saying it be “folly” and would make him “derelict in my duty.”

Hannity stated, “if something happens, I will blame members of Congress for not doing their job!”

The pro-amnesty congressman responded, “because that helps your ratings, every night, I get that part!”
