Apple unveiled its first new product line in years last week — Apple Watch — along with a new iPhone, but it seems the company still has more in store for fall 2014. (RELATED: Five Things To Look Forward To From Apple’s Watch, iPhone 6 Launch Event)
Citing “a person familiar with the company’s pre-launch logistics,” Apple Insider reports the company has another launch event in the works for Oct. 21.
According to “sources familiar with the matter” cited in a Daily Dot report, the event could feature the debut of a sixth-gen iPad, iPad Mini and the company’s latest operating software, OS X Yosemite.
Bloomberg reported last month that Apple is working on its biggest iPad yet for a 2015 release, which will feature a 12.9-inch screen (the company’s latest iPad Air has a 9.7-inch screen).
Business Insider expects the new iPad will feature Apple’s new A8 processor chip unveiled during last Tuesday’s iPhone 6 launch, along with an improved camera and gold color option. New color options for Retina display Macbook Airs are also rumored to make an appearance.
