‘F@ck It, I Quit’: Reporter Drops F-Bomb, Quits On Air

Everyone has quit a job, but not many people have quit like this.

Charlo Greene was a reporter at KTVA in Alaska, “was” being the operative word. She’s now the owner of a medical marijuana business and an advocate for legalized weed. While doing a story on marijuana, Greene announced she was quitting to work fulltime on legalization.

If that were all there was to this story it wouldn’t be much of a story. But it’s the way Greene announced her future plans that makes it worthy of note.

While on air she announced she’d be expending all her energy fighting for legalization, and since she can’t do that and be a reporter, she told the audience, “Fuck it, I quit.”

The shot was then thrown back to stunned anchor who apologized for the language and, a little panicked, tried to go to a break.

Good luck to Greene, because after this she’ll never work in TV again. I suspect, however, she has a good idea how to rid her self of the feeling that she screwed up.
