In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last nine months, Chelsea Clinton is about to give birth to something. The daughter of former President Bill Clinton, a shameless philanderer, sexual harasser, and accused rapist, and his wife, Hillary, is pregnant and due sometime very soon.
The media is in a tizzy over the grand-spawn of the former (and future, if they have their way) First Couple. But information is hard to come by since Chelsea rarely speaks in forums where someone without her last name can speak back to her.
But Chelsea makes an exception when it involves the family money-maker – The Clinton Global Initiative – and the person speaking back can be relied upon to ask softball questions. Enter CNN’s serial plagiarist Fareed Zakaria.
Zakaria asked Chelsea why she didn’t want to the sex of her baby. She answered, “There are so few mysteries in life … any answer is a happy one. So my husband and I decided that we would enjoy this mystery for the nine-plus months that we’re granted, and we are eager to find out what God will have given us.”
That’s all well and good, and I hope the baby is healthy and happy. But Chelsea has committed a progressive faux pas by assuming she and her husband will know the baby’s gender identity after “nine-plus months.”
In the progressive’s dogmatic worldview, sex and gender are constructs imposed on people by a misogynistic, cisnormative society dominated by the 
patriarchy. A person’s true gender isn’t decided until they pick from a possible 71 options on their Facebook page. It’s just good science.
Of course this is all absurd, but these are the rules progressives set out for the rest of us to follow, so we must hold them to them as well, right? It’s only fair, and if there’s a word progressives love more than any other it’s “fair.” OK, maybe it’s “racist” or “justice,” but “fair” is definitely up there. “Fair” certainly podiums, which word gets which medal changes weekly.
Will the progressive though police force Chelsea to apologize her cisnormative assumption? Will she get a pass for this horrendous slur against the genderqueer, gender fluid, pansexual, and countless other configurations of made-up psychobabble communities?
