Former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton is continuing to cut checks to Republican candidates across the country, with plans to give nearly $60,000 to more than a dozen congressional candidates in California this week.

Through his John Bolton PAC, the Republican plans to announce Tuesday that he will donate $57,500 to 13 Republican candidates for Congress, The Daily Caller has learned.

Those getting checks from Bolton, a possible candidate for president in 2016:

  • Doug Ose (CA-7): $5,000
  • Rep. Jeff Denham (CA-10): $5,000
  • David Valadao (CA-21): $5,000
  • Tony Strickland (CA-25): $5,000
  • Jeff Gorell (CA-26): $5,000
  • Paul Chabot (CA-31): $7,500
  • Elan Carr (CA-33): $5,000
  • Brian Nestande (CA-36): $5,000
  • Rep. Ed Royce (CA-39): $2,500
  • Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (CA-48): $2,500
  • Rep. Darell Issa (CA-49): $2,500
  • Rep. Duncan Hunter (CA-50): $2,500
  • Carl DeMaio (CA-52): $5,000

“Each of these highly qualified candidates is a great champion for supporting a strong American defense posture and active engagement in global affairs,” Bolton will say in a forthcoming release. “As our nation’s most populous state, California has long played an integral role in shaping the trajectory of our country’s most important decisions. I’m proud to support leaders who will never compromise on America’s responsibility and commitment to global leadership.”
