Psychic Predicts Bumpy Road For Politico

As the stars align for Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky they’re not quite coming together for Politico.

The suburban Virginia website recently sought out astrologers to find out what’s going to become of Chelsea Clinton‘s newborn baby, Charlotte

So it’s only fair that we consult with a spiritual medium to find out what’s in store for Politico, what, with their European expansion on the horizon and recent hire of Peter Canellos as editor Susan Glasser‘s right hand man.

PLEASE NOTE: The Daily Caller talked to our psychic medium BEFORE Canello’s hire was announced on October 6.

As many know, this has been a season of change for Politico. Late last year, Jim VandeHei left his executive editor position behind for the fancier title of President and CEO. John Harris, meanwhile, editor-in-chief, is retaining his title, but will soon jet off to Europe to oversee the publication’s expansion there. Meanwhile, they’ve upped Glasser to editor ever since Rick Berke — their star hire from the NYT — bolted before finishing a year on the job. Glasser will be running the day-to-day operations, Harris recently told The Mirror.

But what’s really in store for Politico?

For that, The Mirror turns to psychic medium Bill Philipps. Based in southern California, his speciality is helping people connect with dead loved ones on the other side. He helped connect Tanya Brown with her famously dead sister Nicole Brown Simpson, and many others. He also recently appeared on Dr. Phil.

We decided to tap into his psychic energies to find out more.

“I feel like it’s going to continue, but there’s going to be a delay,” he said. “I’m seeing November as a beginning of putting all the pieces together. But upheaval is going to continue until the end of November. More bumps in the road.”

Whoa! Bumps in the road? Do tell!

“Let’s say that there are two partners,” he said, perhaps alluding to VandeHarris. “There’s going to be a new leadership situation,” he said, perhaps alluding to Glasser.” He continued, “There is going to be a second person added.”

DING. DING. DING. Our psychic hit the nail on the head.

As for the success or failure of the European venture, Philipps sees a silver lining.

“I don’t see it crashing and burning,” he said of Politico. “I am actually seeing a larger platform.”

If you dare doubt Philipps’ thoughts, check back to a story from April in which he correctly predicts the Oscar Pistorius outcome, among other things.

The Mirror delayed this story as we waited for a D.C. fortune teller named “Susan” to get her psychic shit together. Well, she didn’t. At least not in time for this story. Night after night we returned to her apartment to get her thoughts on Politico. During our first visit, she was adamant that she needed to spend a day meditating on Politico to come with the right answers. Especially since she had never even heard of Politico. The next night, we were shooed away because of an “emergency.” And the following night her storefront psychic studio was all locked up.

Is it mere coincidence that Susan’s meditating on Politico overlapped with an emergency?

Only time will tell.
