MSNBC Guest: Federal Government ‘Doing A Good Job’ On Ebola [VIDEO]

With the news that another Dallas heath worker has contracted the Ebola virus and that she had received flown on an airplane while sick, praise for the beleaguered CDC and Obama administration has been rare. But MSNBC’s “Ronan Farrow Daily” managed to find one in the form of former Surgeon General Richard Carnoma. (RELATED: Brit Hume: CDC Director Ebola Claims ‘Manifestly Not True’)

FARROW: Do you think there has been a void of leadership on this, and what do you think [would be] the most productive thing the federal government can do at this point?

CARNOMA: Well I think the federal government is overall doing a good job in a very complicated situation. But finding a way to speak in one voice, to get the messaging down. There’s a lot of information that’s coming out that first and foremost is not readily understandable by the average person who has no… knowledge on these issues. So communicating to the public in a health-literate, culturally competent matter so they can start to build up some resilience if you will, understand what they can do to protect themselves and their families…
