Jennifer Lawrence angered some gluten-free groups after her recent interview with “Vanity Fair” when the 24-year-old said she is suspicious of health food trends, and called being gluten-free is “the new cool eating disorder, the ‘basically I just don’t eat carbs.'”

Her comments shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. She’s the actress who brought Slim Jims to the Oscars, “hot and mild, because I didn’t know what kind of mood I would be in,” and stained her “American Hustle” costume with her orange-stained hands after she ate Nacho Cheese Doritos.

However, outrage has ensued.

“Gluten Dude” called Lawrence’s statement “ignorant” and “stupid,” and even said her comments were heartbreaking.

Before you read his quote, just remember this person thinks comments about people who don’t eat the bread sticks before the salad comes are heartbreaking.

“I think of the children who have celiac and are getting bullied. And my heart breaks.”

“I think of celiacs going out to eat and having a server who thinks gluten-free is BS. And my heart breaks.”

“I think of the newly diagnosed whose families are not being supportive of their new lifestyle. And my heart breaks.”

And even “Women’s Health Magazine” got offended by her dismissive comments.

“Let us be clear: For the 2.5 million people with celiac disease and 20 million with non-celiac gluten sensitivities, following a gluten-free diet is absolutely necessary to ensure they get the nutrients they need and don’t suffer from gastrointestinal distress.”

That quote comes before a link to NationalEatingDisorders.org.

Of course, Twitter got involved.

This is the same Jennifer Lawrence who, at the Academy Awards, tripped up the stairs on the way to accept her award for “Best Actress” for “Silver Linings Playbook.”

We’re sure Jennifer Lawrence is really, really concerned what “Gluten Dude” thinks about her. (RELATED: Larry David Calls Jennifer Lawrence Crush A Damn Shame)
