As he signed an executive order strengthening credit card and debit card security measures, President Obama shared an amusing anecdote about the time his credit card was rejected in a New York restaurant:

I should mention, by the way, I went to a restaurant up in New York when I was at the UN General Assembly, and my credit card was rejected. I guess I don’t use it enough. They thought there was some fraud going on. Fortunately, Michelle had hers. I was trying to explain to the waitress, ‘No, I really think that I’ve been paying my bills. Even I’m affected by this.’
