President Barack Obama, speaking in support of embattled Gov. Pat Quinn, told a crowd in Chicago’s South Side they need to get “Cousin Pookie” off the couch and to the polls to vote in 15 days. Obama remained in Chicago Monday morning to vote on the first day of early voting.

Obama: “Starting tomorrow, you can vote too. You’ve got to grab your friends. You’ve got to grab your co-workers. You know, don’t just get the folks you know are going to vote, you’ve got to find Cousin Pookie, he’s sitting on the couch right now watching football, hasn’t voted in the last five elections. You’ve got to grab him and tell him to go vote!”
