Talk radio host Rush Limbaugh said on his show Monday that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie “caved” to President Obama’s demands that he remove the Garden State’s mandatory Ebola quarantine, accusing him of wanting to look “hand-in-hand” with the President.

Limbaugh began by reading from a recent Daily Mail article characterizing the reversal as an “embarrassing turnaround” brought about by “intense White House pressure.” (RELATED: Christie On Ebola: ‘Government’s Job’ Is To Protect People)

“Here we are one week before an election, and once again we have a Republican governor caving, or seeking to be seen arm-and-arm, hand-in-hand with the president of the United States,” Limbaugh said.

“As I say, quarantine some governors, folks,” he concluded. “Really.”
