I’m glad Media Matters is paying Eric Boehlert. He’s a reliable source of schadenfreude, and I’d hate to see him homeless.
If you read Glenn Reynolds, AKA Instapundit, you know that all his posts look like this:
The first part is always in all-caps. Always. He’s been doing it this way for so long, I don’t even notice it anymore. And when Glenn tweets out links to his posts, it follows the same format.
Big dummy and MMFA underling Eric Boehlert doesn’t like it, and he thinks he’s figured out why Reynolds does things this way:
IF THE GOVERNMENT CAN PLANT EVIDENCE ON SHARYL ATTKISSON’S COMPUTER, then they can plant evid… http://t.co/pjGLSo4kuo via @instapundit

ALL CAPS captures the paranoia nicely; MT @instapundit IF GOV’T CAN PLANT EVIDENCE ON SHARYL ATTKISSON’S COMPUTER, then they can plant evid

.@EricBoehlert All my posts start with an all caps intro. It’s a style. But thanks for playing.

Oh well. At least Boehlert has avoided Reynolds’ point, which is that if the feds are spying on Sharyl Attkisson, they can spy on you. Or me. Or even Boehlert, if he steps out of line.
And you can bet he wouldn’t be lobbing any accusations of paranoia at the people who dare to talk back, if the president were a Republican.
But then, Boehlert will say anything about anybody, as long as he gets a paycheck.
