“The Daily Show” host Jon Stewart stopped by CNN on Tuesday to discuss his upcoming film, “Rosewater,” but caused some waves when discussing the 2014 midterm elections.

Stewart joked about how he thought that Republicans would take control of the Senate, as well as “the Supreme Court, and all of Washington, D.C’s restaurants and lobbying organizations,” reports Mediaite.

Surprisingly, the highly political comedian stated that he didn’t vote in the midterm elections and didn’t particularly care about the results.

Stewart claimed his absence from the polls stemmed from a pending move to a new state, but refused to say to which state he was moving to.
