Green Bay Embarrasses Division Rival Chicago

On Sunday, the Green Bay Packers took on the Chicago Bears in an NFC North showdown.

It wasn’t much of a game.

En route to a 42-0 first half lead, Green Bay must’ve been actively looking for ways to embarrass Chicago when Jarrett Boykin pulled this gem out of his ass:

That’s right. Boykin actually blocked a punt by kicking it before the punter even had a chance to do his job. I don’t know if the gunner just got a great break on the snap, or if allowing 42 unanswered points simply sapped the Bears’ will to compete, but either way, you couldn’t make this up.

Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers lobbed six first-half TDs, breaking an NFL record, and single-handedly led my fantasy team to victory.

Rodgers was benched halfway through the third quarter, but had he stayed in for the whole game, No. 12 would have had a great shot at breaking the NFL single-game record for touchdown passes.

I understand why Coach Mike McCarthy benched his star QB. The game was already locked up, but I’m sure Packers fans would’ve liked to see a little slice of history.

In the meantime, if the Bears want to have any shot at the playoffs, they’d better take a little advice from Rodgers and “R-E-L-A-X.”
