On Sunday, Swiss daredevil/psychopath François Gissy strapped rockets to a bicycle and set a new world record.

WATCH:

Gissy — piloting the aptly named Kamikaze V — accelerated to 207 mph in just under five seconds. I guess this wasn’t enough of an adrenaline rush, as Gissy proceeded to line up against a Ferrari 430 Scuderia only minutes afterward.

Wasn’t even close.

I’m not sure if this guy is an innovator or just legitimately insane. Why anyone would ever need a bicycle capable of exceeding 200 mph and incapable of steering is beyond me.

That being said, he’s definitely a champion. Sick flow? Check. Bicycle land speed record? Check.

When you live a life as exceptional as Gissy’s, there’s no room for moderation. It’s safe to assume his record won’t be broken anytime soon, unless of course he gets bored next weekend and gives it another crack.
