In light of four killings at a Jerusalem synagogue this morning, CNN interviewed Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat. One point of confusion, however, is whether those murders transpired at a synagogue or a mosque. CNN apparently thought it was a mosque.

A note to CNN chyron writers: According to Judaism 101, an online encyclopedia focusing on Jewish matters, a Jewish “church” is called a synagogue, shul or temple.
