Duke football is on the rise.
In the past few years, the Blue Devils into a serious threat in the ACC, and their zero-to-hero turnaround can be explained in four words: graduate assistant Chris Hoover.
That chair never stood a chance.
Hoover was a walk-on linebacker for the Blue Devils, and he’s been honing the art of the pump-up since at least 2012.

Unfortunately for the Blue Devils, Hoover’s antics didn’t help them against North Carolina Thursday night. Duke lost 45-20.
