The Reverend Al Sharpton called Tuesday for “an emergency meeting in Washington, D.C. to discuss continued marches, possible legislation and financial sanctions” according to WAFF 48.

Sharpton, who pledged to return to Ferguson as riots pick up tonight, met with President Barack Obama in the Oval Office the day after Democrats’ midterm election loss earlier this month. Obama told Sharpton to keep the activist movement staying “on course.”
