NYT Publishes Embarrassingly Long Thanksgiving Recipe Correction

Just in time for Thanksgiving, the NYT has issued what has to be among the most shameful corrections in awhile. Even author John McQuaid, who wrote Tasty: The Art and Science of What We Eat, felt pity for the pub.

“Good lord, @nytimes, it’s Thanksgiving,” wrote McQuaid, a journalist living in Silver Spring, Md. “Pull it together.”

Seriously, who confuses pawpaw pudding and papaya? Even if you have no idea in the world what those two things are, come on, do they sound remotely similar?

Whoever wrote a story with this many errors should hide for the next week.
