This year’s video for Strike Fighter Ball 2014 shows the East Coast Navy’s F/A-18 hornet squadrons at its best, and features pilots in everything from dog fights with F-15s to flights in space to the International Space Station.

With footage captured via cockpit-mounted cameras, the video shows Naval aviators live-firing missiles and bombs, flying night sorties, making catapult launches, trap landings, battling ISIS and engaging in all sorts of aerial acrobatics, including some tight formation flying with the Blue Angels.

The video also includes footage of former F/A-18 Super Hornet pilot and NASA Astronaut Reid Wiseman, who flew to the ISS as part of the Expedition 41 crew earlier this year and returned to Earth last month. According to The Aviationist, Wiseman previously flew for Strike Fighter Squadron 103 based out of Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia. (RELATED: Check Out This INCREDIBLE Footage Of F-18s Flying In Hornet Ball 2014)
