Legendary talk show host Dick Cavett appeared on WNYC’s “The Brian Lehrer Show,” Thursday morning, during which he cracked a joke about how he wished former Vice President Dick Cheney would die. (RELATED: Politico National Editor Calls Cheney A War Criminal)
Cavett reminisced about many of the people he interview during his heyday, including a joint interview with John Lennon and Yoko Ono. “That so many of the people I did are dead, that is just stunning to me,” he said. “And why is it never Dick Cheney?”
If that joke sounds familiar, it’s because Cavett made the same lame joke last year on HuffPost Live. “Well come on, it won’t be long,” responded Josh Zepps. “The man doesn’t even have a heart!”
