Every year knife-maker Ernest Emerson crafts a custom knife for auction and the proceeds go to a worthy cause.

This year the chosen charity is the CIA Officers Memorial Foundation. The purpose of the foundation is to help the children and spouses of officers who die on active duty.

“Given the current environment and criticism of the CIA we thought it appropriate to support the Foundation,” Mr. Emerson tells the Daily Caller.

“Too often they die serving our country and this is a way to acknowledge their importance and contribution to our freedom.”

The knife is a customized “Roadhouse Beast” in Ghost Grey and decorated with the Skull and Roses motif on the front of the blade.

On the rear of the blade is engraved the motto found at the headquarters of the CIA, “And Ye Shall Know The Truth And The Truth Shall Make You Free” – John 8:32.” And a Crusaders Cross with the words, “Nemo Me Impune Lacessit” – No one harms me with impunity.

Bidding for the knife closes the afternoon of December 19.

This is a one-of-a-kind knife, handmade by Ernest Emerson himself. There will never be another like it made. Please be generous with your bids.
