2014 was not kind to Florida State’s star quarterback Jameis Winston.
While his off-field problems kept piling on, the former Heisman trophy winner’s on-field play seriously regressed. Despite being suspended for several games, Winston somehow led the ‘Noles to an ACC championship and a berth to the inaugural college football playoff.
There can only be one explanation (set to the tune of Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” obviously).

Preach.
“When people tell me NO I just assume that it means YES” could be Jameis’ official motto. Unfortunately for Jameis, I don’t see him surviving at the next level. His play this year is a strong indicator that he isn’t mentally ready for the league.
Actually, I guess you could argue that his off-field decisions are evidence that he isn’t mentally ready for anything, but I digress.
I want Jameis to succeed. I think he CAN if he makes some changes. An NFL team will definitely draft him, and at this point, it’s all on him to make this thing a success. (RELATED: Pitiful Tennessee Titans Are Winning The Jameis Winston Sweapstakes)
